European Rover Challenge

ERC is a global competition (despite the word European in its name) in which academic teams compete with their own mobile robots in disciplines based on real ESA and NASA missions. The battle takes place on an artificially created simulated surface of Mars.

The RoverOva team, composed of students and doctoral students from the Department of Robotics, has been participating in this competition very successfully since 2018, when it won an excellent 5th place right at its premiere. In the following years, they climbed the rankings higher and higher... The composition of the team changes every year, but the desire to push the boundaries persists.
