In addition to its main activity, i.e. providing teaching in bachelor's, master's and doctoral study programmes, the staff of Department 340 are also active in the field of science and research.
Many years of experience in the design and construction of machines and equipment, the applications of technical diagnostics and newly also the design of industrial products, as well as close contact with industrial practice, are a guarantee of the successful participation of the Department staff in completing scientific research and development projects, grants or economic contracts.
Within the implemented projects, our employees are engaged in contractual and applied research throughout the announced grant programs, both from the position of the principal investigator (the project leader) and a co-investigator for VSB-TU Ostrava.
