The Department’s expertise is oriented especially on gear transmissions (strength calculations, dimensional calculations and the geometrical properties of gearing, deformation and life duration testing, optimization), measuring and working on the loading spectra of drives, experimental methods in the area of measuring mechanical variables employing electrical-technical diagnostics (the vibro-diagnostics of bearings, shafts and toothed wheels).
